No war is inevitable. The wars seem inevitable in the end only when it has done nothing to prevent them. If the leaders are committed to building relationships of respect, fairness, mutual solidarity among peoples and States, if they pursued policies of disarmament and dialogue, the crisis could be resolved by excluding the use of force.
